Monday

Pattern Cutting
Today I started my final patterns for my toile, I need to have finished my toile by Friday, so I need to concentrate a lot this week to make sure that I get it all done. I managed to finish that patterns for the back of my shirt, so I feel as though I am in a good place for the rest of the week.

Tuesday

Illustrator Workshop
I really enjoyed today's workshop as I learnt how to create technical drawings on illustrator, and we touched upon all the things that we learnt last time to refresh our minds which I found very helpful. I am really beginning to see my technical skills improving and I am getting a lot more confidence in what I am doing.
Technical session
Today's session was all about getting on with our toiles. I have had a very productive day, where I finished my patterns for one side of the bodice front and one of the sleeves, cuff and placket of my shirt. I am going to finish my patterns tomorrow and get them cut out of calico.

Wednesday

Studio Day
We didn't have any sessions today, so I was able to get on with all my projects, I decided to focus on my patterns and toile, I finished the patterns for the bodice and the button stand and I cut them all out of calico and started to construct.

Thursday

Mentor Day
Today we were working with our third-year mentors, I really enjoyed today as I got to start making one of his toiles, I am finding it really interesting to see how others pattern cut and create their designs, and I am enjoying getting to see the third years final collections come together.

Friday

Technical Session
Today I was working on my toile all day, I am really pleased with the outcome, I have almost finished my toile for the toile reviews on Monday. I finished my collar patterns today and began putting everything together. I think that my work is showing clear links to my research, all that is left to do is pattern cut the other sleeve and then I will have a finished toile. I am looking forward to the toile review on Monday as I think that it is going to be very beneficial and helpful, and I hope to learn a lot from it.
